The Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam invites applicants for the following short-term position:
 

Short-term Assistant in Admin/Accounts Section (One position)


  1. Employment period: From 20 February 2026 to late April 2026 (may be extended by approx. one month)

  2. Job Description: Assigned to the Admin/Accounts Section, he/she will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, managing schedules, managing inventories, assisting with accounting and other tasks.

  3. Requirements:
    (1) Brunei Citizenship or Stateless status with no criminal record
    (2) Ability to converse in both English and Malay and to write in English
    (3) Basic PC skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    (4) At least 3 years of experience of office work
    (5) Comprehension of Japanese language is not required, but preferable

  4. Working Conditions:
    (1) Working hours: Mon-Fri from 08:30-17:00 (May be requested to work overtime)
    (2) Rest days are Saturday, Sunday and holidays determined by the Embassy.
    (3) Salary: Determined by the Embassy
