The Thirteenth Japan International MANGA Award

　　The Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam is pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan has just launched the Thirteenth Japan International MANGA Award and is currently accepting entries from interested applicants. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs founded the International MANGA Award in 2007 for the purpose of expanding international exchange and mutual understanding through MANGA culture which is widely accepted around the world. This award honours MANGA artists who are contributing to the development of world-wide MANGA culture.

　　We look forward to receiving entries for this year’s award from aspiring MANGA artists. Applications are open from 8 April to 14 June 2019. The Gold Award of the Japan International MANGA Award will be given to the best work, as well as a trip to Japan (approximately 10 days). In addition, you can find information regarding previous award-winning work on the website below.
