Japanese language and culture sessions at secondary and sixth-form schools

2017/8/18
The Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam visited some secondary and sixth form schools to introduce some basic Japanese language and Japanese culture.

  • 19 July 2017: Pusat Tingkatan Enam Sengkurong
  • 20 July 2017: Sekolah Menengah Sufri Bolkiah & Sekolah Menengah Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha
  • 9 August 2017: Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Husain

At each session, students learned basic numbers and how to introduce themselves in Japanese. They also played Origami (Japanese paper folding) and tried on the Japanese traditional summer dress, Yukata. We hope that every student who participated gained more interest in Japan from the sessions.

Any schools who wish to invite the Embassy of Japan to hold Japanese language and culture sessions for students can contact to the Information & Culture Section of the Embassy of Japan (cultureinfo@bw.mofa.go.jp).
