Japanese Language Proficiency Test for 2020

The Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam is now accepting applications for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2020 from 9 until 16 October.

JLPT has been offered by the Japan Foundation since 1984 as a reliable means of evaluating and certifying the Japanese proficiency of non-native speakers. In Brunei, the JLPT was launched in 2008, and it has been held every December since then.

The JLPT has five levels; N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5. The easiest level is N5 and the most difficult level is N1.

The JLPT 2020 will be held on Sunday, 6 December 2020 at the Language Centre, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

Those who are interested in this test are required to submit the application form to the Embassy no later than Friday 16 October 2020. The Test Guide including application form is now available at the Embassy of Japan, Culture and Education Section counter. The Test Guide including application form costs 5.00BND, and the Test Fee is 30.00BND for each level.
