The National Flag Handover Ceremony for the Brunei Darussalam Delegation to the 20th Asian Games (2026, Aichi-Nagoya)

On 14 September, The national flag handover ceremony for the Brunei delegation to the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium. Chargé d'Affaires ad interim Ms MIURA Keiko was invited to represent Japan.
The ceremony was graced by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, President of the National Olympic Council of Brunei Darussalam, and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Pehin Dato Seri Setia Shamhary, who both offered words of encouragement to the athletes and officials representing Brunei in Japan. The 12-member Brunei delegation, comprising five wushu athletes, one karate athlete and six officials, departed from Brunei International Airport on 15 September for their participation in the Games in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
