The Award Ceremony of the Mitsubishi Asian Children's Picture Diary Festa 2024-2025 by Ministry of Education

On 8 September, Ministry of Education organized the Brunei Award Ceremony of the Mitsubishi Asian Children's Picture Diary Festa 2024-2025 at The Rizqun International Hotel. Chargé d'Affaires ad interim Ms MIURA Keiko and Mr Julahi Bin Mohamad / Mohamat, Director of Co-Curriculum Education, MOE, attended the Ceremony.
The program is organised biennially in countries across Asia, centred around the Mitsubishi Corporation Public Affairs Committee, the Asia-Pacific Federation of UNESCO Clubs, and the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan, with the support of Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It aims to help children across Asia understand and respect each other's cultures through picture diaries as well as to build a better future together.
At the award ceremony, Ms Miura presented certificates in recognition of the achievements of the top 50 children and young artists who produced outstanding works for the 2024-2025 domestic session in Brunei Darussalam. As many as 267 students from 37 schools throughout the sultanate participated in this session.
