Courtesy Call by Students of Kanto Gakuin Mutsuura Junior High and High School

On August 19th, Ambassador Kikuta received a courtesy call from nine students of Kanto Gakuin Mutsuura Junior High and High School from Japan. This marks the third year that the school has conducted its Brunei visit program, and the participating students expressed their admiration for Brunei, highlighting the warmth of its people, the opportunity to improve their English skills, and the chance to deepen their understanding of Islam. Enthusiastic voices were also raised about their desire to become a bridge between Japan and Brunei by participating their approximately 10-day stay.
Ambassador Kikuta encouraged the students to deepen their understanding of Brunei's culture and history through this program, while also continuing to learn about Japan, and expressed his hope that each of them would go on to make their mark in their respective fields in the future.
