Exhibition of the Japan Pavilion at Brunei Darussalam Maritime Week 2026

Brunei Darussalam Maritime Week 2026, organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD), was held at Dermaga Diraja in Bandar Seri Begawan from 6 to 9 August 2026. The Embassy of Japan presented a Japan Pavilion together with two Japan-affiliated companies; NEXT Bahtera Maritime Sdn Bhd, based in Brunei, a between Japan–affiliate company and Brunei joint venture, and MOL Energia, the fluid energy transportation division of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, based in Singapore.
On 7 August, during the official booth tour led by the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Ambassador Kikuta introduced both companies’ initiatives, to the Minister at the pavilion.
