Registration for Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2026 will be open from 3 to 28 August 2026!
The Test Guide, including the application form, is now available only at the Embassy of Japan’s Information and Culture Section counter. Those interested in taking the test are required to submit the application form with cash payment to the Embassy no later than 4pm on Friday, 28 August 2026.
The JLPT comprises five levels: N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5, with N5 being the beginner level and N1 the most advanced.
The application form is BND5.00 for all levels and the test fee varies by level as follows:
N5 - BND 35
N4 - BND 35
N3 - BND 35
N2 - BND 50
N1 - BND 50

This year, the JLPT will be held on Sunday, 6 December 2026.
