2026/4/3
On 29 March, the Embassy of Japan co-organized a Hinamatsuri (Girl's Day) celebration event with Benkyou Education Centre.
The event offered participants a unique chance to immerse themselves in Japanese culture, where they viewed traditional Hina dolls, learned about the history and cultural significance of Hinamatsuri, and experienced a Yukata try-on. Attendees also delighted in tasting an assortment of traditional Japanese sweets for Hinamatsuri, called Hina arare.
The event not only celebrated a cultural tradition but also fostered Brunei-Japan cultural exchange, bringing communities together and creating meaningful connections.
