Seven Nihongo Partners from Japan made school visits in Brunei

Seven Nihongo Partners from Japan made school visits in Brunei for language and cultural exchange with local students. The Programme is funded and orgnised by the Japan Foundation.
 
During their visit, Bruneian students enjoyed various activities including trying on yukata (traditional Japanese clothing), performing bon odori (a traditional Japanese dance), and traditional games such as kendama. They also learned basic Japanese words and culture.
 
The Nihongo Partners visited Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Husain, Sekolah Menengah Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Sekolah Menengah Tanjong Maya, Sekolah Menengah Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam, Sekolah Menengah Sultan Sharif Ali, Maktab Sains Seri Paduka Begawan Sultan, Universty of Technoloigy Brunei, Cosmopolitan College, Benkyou Education Centre, and Jerudong International School where they were warmly welcomed with Brunei's traditional cuisine, music, and dance performances.
 
Before returning to Japan, they paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Kikuta and shared their valuable experiences from the school visits.
