Ambassador Maeda had the honour of a farewell audience with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at Istana Nurul Iman on December 4, 2024.
At the audience, Ambassador Maeda expressed his sincere gratitude to His Majesty and the government and people of Brunei for their support and cooperation in developing the bilateral relations between Japan and Brunei during his tenure.
