Courtesy call from participants of JICA’s “Disaster Management in ASEAN countries”

On 16 October, Dr Dk Halimatussa’diah Pg Zaini, Associate Specialist, and Ms Nuur Aimi Benjimin Paramedic, Head of Operations, Emas Belait, from the Ministry of Health made a courtesy call on Ambassador Maeda.
Dr Halimatussa’diah and Ms Aimi will soon visit Japan to participate in this year’s Knowledge Co-Creation Program (KCCP) on “Disaster Health Management in ASEAN Countries” where they will learn about Japanese and international disaster management and emergency medical system. This three-week programme is supported and funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) which shall be implemented under the Technical Cooperation Agreement (TCA) between ASEAN countries and Japan.
The two prominent officials expressed their intention to deepen and share their knowledge with their colleagues from both Japan and the other ASEAN members. Ambassador Maeda wished their success and expressed his hope that this programme would further strengthen our ties between Brunei and Japan.
