Ikebana Sogetsu Workshop at Lifelong Learning Centre

On 23rd June 2024 the Embassy of Japan hosted an Ikebana (flower arrangement) workshop at the Lifelong Learning Centre. A total of 90 people participated in the workshop. Ms MAEDA Sanae, the representative of Sogetsu Ikebana, together with 10 instructors shared their skills and ways to make the Sogetsu style of ikebana. The instructors are pleased to visit Brunei and have a workshop to commemorate the 40^th Anniversary of Brunei-Japan bilateral ties. Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports, attended the event as the guest of honour.
