Donations from Japan to Brunei Amateur Softball and Baseball Association (BASBA)

The Government of Japan, with the cooperation of Japan Rubber Baseball Association, has donated 2,400 rubber baseball, 50 gloves, 20 bats, 15 baseball helmets, 2 sets of home base and 2 catcher’s armour to the Brunei Amateur Softball and Baseball Association (BASBA).
A handover ceremony was held at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium on 11 November 2023 with the attendance of Ambassador MAEDA and BASBA President Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Pahlawan Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jaafar bin Haji Abdul Aziz.
With this donation, it is hoped that the friendship in the field of sports will be further strengthened and create more cooperation opportunities.
