The visit of the first group of NIHONGO partners

The first batch of “NIHONGO Partners” paid a visit to Brunei Darussalam from 17th to 25th September to teach some basic Japanese and have a cultural exchange with the students in the Sultanate.
This program dispatches Japanese citizens as NIHONGO Partners mainly to secondary schools in Asia in order to support the local Japanese language teachers and students. The primary assignment of the NIHONGO Partners is to support the educational activities of the local Japanese language teachers and to spread the appeal of the Japanese language and culture through their learning support and cultural activities in and outside the classroom.
The NIHONGO Partners made a courtesy call Ambassador MAEDA, visited government schools in Bandar Seri Begawan and Tutong as well as international schools, collaborating with Brunei Japan Friendship Association at UBD and UTB. Please refer to the attached schedule for more details.
