Ambassador Maeda participated in a beach cleaning at Muara Port

JS Uraga and JS Awaji, two naval ships belonging to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, made port calls at Muara Port on 30 April 2023.
The Japanese naval ships will be in the country for three days and carry 200 Japanese naval personnel, including 35 commissioned officers, under the command of Captain NAKAI Eiichi, Commander of Minesweeper Division 1.
On Monday, 1 May 2023, as a friendly exchange programme, the Royal Brunei Navy organised a beach cleaning at Muara port. The Ambassador of Japan in Brunei Darussalam, Mr MAEDA Toru, also joined the event.
He expressed his delight to participate in this warm exchange between the navies.
