Conferment Ceremony for Yang Mulia Maskhairaini binte Haji Ahmad

On 14th August 2022, Ambassador Maeda hosted the conferment ceremony for Yang Mulia Maskhairaini binti Haji Ahmad, former staff of the Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam.
The Government of Japan decided to confer the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays upon Yang Mulia Maskhairaini binti Haji Ahmad in recognition of her significant contribution to the activities of the Japanese overseas establishment. Yang Mulia Maskhairaini binti Haji Ahmad has been a telephone operator and receptionist at the Embassy for 36 years and 9 months since she was hired by the Embassy in 1984 until her retirement on 27th September 2021. During her employment, she maintained a responsive conduct to external inquiries and always strove to improve herself, making every effort to maintain good relations between our countries. On behalf of the Government of Japan, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to her long-standing efforts and the warmest congratulations on this honour.
