Mr Keiichi Ishii, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism visited Brunei

　　From 3 May to 4 May, Mr Keiichi Ishii, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism visited Brunei to promote the enhancement of bilateral exchange and understanding regarding Japan’s high-quality infrastructure. Minister Ishii was granted the audience by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. Minister Ishii met with YB Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, and with YB Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohammad Yusof, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications where they welcomed the inauguration of the direct flight between Bandar Seri Begawan and Narita, exchanged their opinions on inbound tourism to Brunei, and confirmed the continued cooperation between the two countries.
