National Flag Handing Over Ceremony for the delegation of the 49 th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP)

On 12 January, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. attended a national flag handover ceremony for the Brunei delegation of the 49th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP), together with Deputy Chief of Mission, Ms Keiko Miura.
SSEAYP is co-organised by the Governments of Japan and ASEAN countries and brings young leaders from Japan and ASEAN countries together to promote mutual understanding, cultural exchange and regional cooperation through ship-based activities and discussions.
This year, the Brunei delegation comprises 16 youths and a leader, who will visit Japan, Singapore and Thailand.
