GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS
FOR
BRUNEIAN STUDENTS
The Japanese Government is once again offering scholarships to Bruneian
students who are keen to study in
Over the past 18
years many Bruneians have successfully participated in the scholarship
programmes offered by the Japanese Government. Not
only have the students enhanced their academic qualifications, they have also
learned about the people, culture and language of
There are four different types of scholarship
available:
1.
An undergraduate course which
consists of a one-year intensive Japanese language course and a four–year
bachelor’s degree course.
2.
A postgraduate research student
course which includes a six-month
intensive Japanese language course and a one and a half year special course.
3.
A Japanese college of technology
course which consists of a one-year
intensive course in Japanese and a three-year
course in a specialised subject. Students will receive basic and specialised
knowledge and techniques.
4.
A Japanese special training
college course which includes a one-year
intensive course in Japanese and a two-year career and vocational training
course.
